September 30, 2008...Nightime..

Just getting back to this initial blog...Much outdoor work accomplished since my first posting--such work progressing, but presently slowed by rainy weather.
Did attend a all-day, initiation to scriptwriting session at Cinemapolis (in Ithaca, NY) last Saturday with Andrew Horton and others--which was very helpful to get one's 'motor going' about learning to write a screenplay. Hope to do so, with winter coming on...Have a historical, non-fiction, true story--and an important female character from the mid-19th century; have done most of the research during the past forty years! More to do, of course...Will not be easy, but much contained within the material for an extraordinary film. A matter of outlining, then developing it appropriately.

In the countryside, just southwest of Ithaca, New York - September 19, 2008

I hope to get some useful words on this blogspot before long...Most likely I will have to find time in the evenings...along with other correspondence and projects...

Presently, here in the Fingerlakes area of central New York State, I have many outdoor chores to complete before the colder autumn weather hits (which can include considerably colder temperatures, rain and snow..) With ninety acres, plenty of old growth trees and seven meadows organically farmed with grains (fortunately an organic farmer handles those chores), woodcutting, painting, some cement work, etc., for an 1847 Greek Revival farmhouse and many outbuildings, there are always things to do--as well as with the grounds surrounding the main house and outbuildings...

Will get back to this in a few days....
